Prison Fellowship

God walks with each and every one of us no matter who we are or what we’ve done, we are all children of God. In the world we live in today, people are quick to judge others based off of first impressions and gossip. While it is easy to look at the flaws in others, it is even easier to ignore the flaws within ourselves. This can be demonstrated in the Bible verse John 8:7, “When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, ‘Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.’” The people around Jesus found a prostitute and wanted to stone her to death, but Jesus said the above verse. Ultimately, we must first introspect before we judge, assume and cast shame on others around us. So with that, prisoners, and incarcerated people are being cast away and shamed because of who they are and what they have done, but deep down they are still God’s children, the same as everyone else. We cannot be so quick to judge other children of God without knowing each and every circumstance, therefore, it is important to be informed on matters such as these, and if you are willing to learn more, feel free to click on the picture below, and feel free to also leave some of your own thoughts.
